climate change is a reality and important part of global warming is due to human activity. One the one hand national and international agreements are needed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and on the other hand initiatives are needed to help society adapt to the future climate. So we generates 75% of electricity by using wind power.

The Minister has already approbed the regulations and incentives to make that by 2010 clean and sustainable energy will be able to provide around 12% of the national comsumption because now they only give around 7%
The Center of energy research, enviromental and technological from the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation says that Spain is specially being afected by the drough and this is the most afected european country talking about the climate change.
The last few years Spain has been the principal solar energy producer and second in wind energy in 2008 could overpass Germany.
Hydropower production in Spain is the second bigger of the EU so we will very glad to be part of the alliance with Portugal and the UK.
Spain offer to this partnership facilities to invest and to reach money to make this ally happen.

I'm pretty sure that we're all having a great time participating and finding out about topics that are so interesting for everybody specially in our study area.
I generally don't work so hard in an english class but now I can say this is a great oportunity to know other different countries and their politics.
Of course all the research that we have been doing is been very useful for the activities!!!
